We are a not-for-profit school and all our instructors are volunteers. We teach because we love it. This is why we're able to offer an affordable sliding scale. Students pay anywhere between $45-80 per month to train up to 3 classes per week.

Very safe! We spend a lot of time on safe contact levels as appropriate for each belt level.

If you're interested in training, please come watch a class. That way you can get a sense of us, how we train and our style. We train hard, have fun and truly enjoy each other's company. Wild Cranes train with light hearts, but serious intent!

No, you only pay your monthly dues and that's it. We never charge money for belt tests. People are tested only when they are ready. For Wild Cranes, tests are a celebration and demonstration of your knowledge.

Our studio is located on the border of Berkeley and Oakland, just 10 minutes walking distance from Ashby BART. If you bike, you can park your bicycle inside our school.

We are an adult school and the age minimum is 18.
